Strategic Objectives, Canada’s most award-winning PR agency, is continuing its remarkable 2019 winning streak with several exciting new business wins. The firm, which was named Gold Quill Mid-Size Agency of the Year 2019 at the IABC World Conference in June, in addition to IABC/Toronto Mid-Size Agency of the Year (for the seventh time in the last 10 years) in May, is thrilled to announce six new clients that span multiple industries. They include: VStar Entertainment Group, CPA Canada, MUJI, foodora, Trend Hunter and Node.
“2019 has been a remarkable year of growth for Strategic Objectives as we continue to expand our portfolio to represent some of the best brands in Canada,” says Deborah Weinstein, partner and co-founder. “Being recognized as the World’s Best Mid-Size PR Agency, as well as Toronto Agency of the Year by our peers in the industry, is just the icing on the cake and testament to how hard our team works for our clients every day.”
Strategic Objectives’ new client roster includes:
VStar Entertainment Group (VStar)
VStar Entertainment Group, owned by global entertainment leader Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, is a leading producer of unforgettable live experiences for consumers around the world. Strategic Objectives is partnering with VStar to launch four family-focused shows in the Canadian market in 2019 and 2020: Trolls LIVE!, Nick Jr Live!, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” and PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure”. The campaign includes extensive national and regional media and influencer relations to build awareness of the shows across the country and drive ticket sales.
Chartered Professional Accounts of Canada (CPA Canada)
With more than 217,000 members, CPA Canada is one of the largest national accounting bodies in the world, working closely with the provincial, territorial and Bermudan CPA bodies to champion best practices that benefit business and society. Strategic Objectives is supporting CPA Canada’s important work in the field of financial literacy by developing and executing a year-long, national media relations program. The goal is to leverage CPA Canada’s related survey data to highlight its Financial Literacy Program as the go-to for financial know-how to improve the economic health of Canadians, their businesses and, in turn, the broader Canadian economy.
Strategic Objectives is now proud to promote MUJI, the minimalist Japanese retailer known around the world for its extensive design-focused line-up of “no brand” quality goods, ranging from apparel to household goods and food. The brand entered the Canadian market five years ago, and n\ow operates its largest retail location outside of Asia in the heart of Toronto’s downtown core. Strategic Objectives is raising brand awareness and driving retail sales for MUJI with targeted media and influencer relations in several markets across Canada.
Strategic Objectives recently signed on with online delivery brand, foodora, to conceive and implement an integrated Toronto-focused PR program to raise awareness and consumer trial of foodora’s new, on demand delivery service with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). The program, celebrating everyday occasions that foodora and LCBO can make more enjoyable — from romantic date nights, to Sunday brunch with your besties — included media and influencer relations, and an exclusive foodora House Party event for more than 70 media and influencers. The program provoked a 25% spike in web traffic on the day of the news release, with no marketing support beyond PR, and earned more than 39.5+ million positive impressions in under a month.
Strategic Objectives is proud to partner with Trend Hunter, the world’s largest, most popular trend spotting community, headquarted in Toronto. Trend Hunter empowers and inspires brands around the world with consumer insights, research and workshops, and hosts the world’s best innovation conference, Future Festival, in major markets throughout North America and Europe. Trend Hunter engaged Strategic Objectives to promote Future Festival’s recent Toronto conference and to build ongoing profile for the Trend Hunter leadership team.
Strategic Objectives has partnered with Node, a UK-based, international leader in co-living communities, to launch its leading-edge new residential concept in Canada. Node design-builds beautiful apartments with communal spaces and engaged the agency to announce its first-ever Canadian development in Kitchener, Ontario, positioning the brand and its CEO, Anil Kherra, as a thought leader in the Canadian and global co-living industry.
