Strategic Objectives co-founders Deborah Weinstein and Judy Lewis were named to Canada’s Marketing, Advertising, PR and Communications Hall of Fame by Marketing News Canada, on June 6 at the SocialWest Marketing Conference, a gathering of digital marketing leaders from across Canada.
One of the marketing industry’s most significant awards, the Hall of Fame recognizes Judy and Deborah’s meaningful contributions to advancing the practice of Public Relations as well as their ongoing business success. To commemorate the honour, the partners received awards featuring indigenous artwork by W.J. (Jamie) Sterritt incorporating the eagle – a sacred creature revered by the First Nations of Northwestern British Columbia – symbolizing focus, strength, peace and leadership. It is a fitting tribute to Judy and Deborah’s groundbreaking careers.
And there’s more good news! Recognizing the partners’ Hall of Fame appointment, Jelly Academy, a Canadian leader in digital skills training, has announced an annual Judy Lewis and Deborah Weinstein Gender Equity Scholarship. Recognizing the sisters’ transformative impact on the industry, the award will focus on helping those who identify as a gender minority advance in the field of digital marketing.
