When news broke of the severity of the pandemic, the proudly Canadian company quickly registered with Health Canada for licenses to allow for the rapid manufacture, import and sale of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), remaining open throughout the pandemic as an essential service. Showcase also established a wholesale division, serving countless government and healthcare agencies and became a premier PPE supplier to the Retail Council of Canada membership, which allowed the nation’s retailers and food service providers to open safely. With up-to-the-minute inventory and health information communicated to customers throughout the year, Showcase grew its online business by 300+ per cent, and making it one of Canada’s leading PPE retailers.
