Last Fall, Koodo sold adorable four-inch figurines featuring Koodo’s star spokescharacter, El Tabador online at www.koodomobile.com/minimuchacho and at Koodo Shops all across Canada for just $8.00 with net proceeds going to Food Banks Canada. Canadians jumped at the chance to get in the ring and help El Tabador put hunger issues down for the count. We're thrilled to announce this simple yet significant program was a massive success, raising $75,000 for Food Banks Canada! Strategic Objectives PR pros helped celebrate the Canadian launch of Fair Trade Certified Cadbury Dairy Milk with a coast-to-coast awareness building campaign. We teamed up with James Anane Mensah, a cocoa farmer from Ghana who supplies Cadbury with Fair Trade cocoa, and travelled across Canada enlisting support for Fair Trade. James shared his heartwarming stories about the positive impact Fair Trade is having on his life and his community, with the media and the public. Thousands of Canadians pledged their support by signing the Fair Trade Banner. It's amazing how a small indulgence in Canada can make a big difference in lives half-way around the world!
