TORONTO-- Meaghan Waller, winner of Canada’s Next Top Model 2009 (CNTM), is the new face of the seventh annual White Cashmere Collection 2010: Fashion with Compassion.
An annual awareness-raiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), the collection features Canada’s top established and emerging designers and their breathtaking BT (bathroom tissue) couture, all crafted in 100 per cent pure, soft and luxurious Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, Canada’s best-selling brand. The collection also heralds the October return of limited-edition Pink Cashmere. Twenty-five cents from the sale of every package of Pink goes directly to the Foundation.
This is the first time the international award-winning collection, which debuted in 2004 and is unique to Canada, has engaged one model to portray its vision of a future without breast cancer.
“The White Cashmere Collection has earned international acclaim for its magnificent BT Couture photography through the years,” says 2010 collection curator and photo stylist, Serge Kerbel, who has created stunning photos for FASHION and Zoomer magazines, in addition to Vogue and GQ Russia. “We are so proud and excited to have Meaghan and Toronto photographer Christopher Wadsworth on board this year.”
Exclusive BT Couture Photo Shoot
This year’s White Cashmere Collection 2010 photo shoot will take place in Toronto on Friday, July 9th.
Photographer Christopher Wadsworth, who’s shot for Elle, LUSH and FASHION magazines in Canada, and for Harper's Bazaar Thailand, China, Malaysia and Russia, says, “I worked with Meaghan on the set of Canada’s Next Top Model and know she’ll bring depth and beauty to the collection.
Meaghan can be soft and sensual, feminine and fierce – the perfect match for a collection that celebrates the strength of women,” says Christopher.
Marc Anthony Hair stylists and MAC Cosmetics will also be on set for hair and makeup.
